We are constantly questioning how to effectively and efficiently communicate across the full spectrum of the touring performing arts field.  Designated presenters, agents and artists will share comments regarding modes of communication followed by facilitated, interactive discussion.

Dance Conversation: The How and Why of Presenting Dance

Presenting dance doesn’t have to be a mystery. Come explore what dance companies can offer for presenters of different types, and hear about the power of dance in community engagement. Learn about potential obstacles to presenting dance and ways to overcome them, as well as available resources, mentorships, and funding networks.

Mid Atlantic Arts Foundation (MAAF): National and International Funding programs for Artists and Presenters

Open to artists, agents, and presenters from across the country, this session will provide an overview of Mid-Atlantic Arts Foundation’s regional, national, and international touring grants. Come learn about USArtists International, a program that supports U.S-based artists traveling to perform at international festivals and marketplaces, or Performing Arts Global Exchange, a new program for U.S. presenters to engage international touring artists.
