We’re kicking off ArtsMarket 2025 in style—with bold flavors, great company, and a festive atmosphere you won’t want to miss. Join us at the Durham Armory for an unforgettable evening featuring the handcrafted cuisine and craft cocktails of José David Peraza-Arce, chef and owner of 13 Tacos and Taps, one of Raleigh’s most beloved destinations for modern Mexican street food. Enjoy a vibrant spread of freshly made tacos and sides, scratch-made salsa, and inventive cocktails. It’s the perfect setting to reconnect with colleagues, meet new friends, and raise a glass to the exciting days ahead.
Then, as the evening continues, gather for our Opening Plenary: Walk a Mile, a powerful reflection on the role of the performing arts in building empathy, understanding, and connection across diverse communities. Led by Donna Washington—internationally known master storyteller, artist-educator, and author—this stirring session will remind us of our shared purpose and the transformative power of the stories we tell.
Let’s celebrate, connect, and set the stage for everything that’s to come. ArtsMarket 2025 starts here—this is where the magic begins.
Performing arts touring and presenting has always been a relationship business—never more so than in this economy. Trusted relationships are essential to every presenter, artist, agent, vendor or service organization. During this fun-filled networking event, participants will gather together and spend time exchanging information and insights while sipping on champagne (or something bubbly), snacking on charcuterie, and maybe even winning some exciting giveaways!
Join us to dine around downtown Durham ahead of our evening showcase block. NCPC dine-arounds are informal dinners hosted at local restaurants. Dine-arounds offer a unique opportunity for networking, engaging conversations, and peer learning. Stay tuned for more information on how to sign up for your dine-around!
As we close out ArtsMarket 2025, we invite all attendees to join us in celebration. and spend some final moments over dinner and drinks with colleagues and friends in the heart of downtown Durham!
Note This is an add-on event that can be added during registration.
